Meet Dr. Stewart
Brent Stewart, PhD
Hi I’m Brent (he/him) An avid fan of all things upper left and an enthusiastic Washingtonian; I received my undergraduate degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington (Seattle). Following graduation, I stayed in higher education working as an academic adviser and residence hall director. Through my work in student services, I decided to pursue my career in psychology. I completed my master’s and doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota, located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. I completed my doctoral residency at the University of Washington Counseling Center and completed my post-doctoral fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital specializing in eating disorders. While I work with all types of people and presenting concerns, I particularly enjoy working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, academic concerns, and families with a loved one in recovery from an eating disorder. When I am not at work, you’ll most likely find me spending time out and about with friends or enjoying the outdoors with my partner and dog.
